as have most other managers too...there are reasons for that...

McCormack doesn't play in Strachan's systems - so he is not going to get much game time - although being there in case we need a goal might have been useful. Rhodes isn't playing any football, so can't see rationale for picking him on any basis.

Well as a Scot, I'm of the opinion that England more than deserved a win. Far from brilliant but the only team on the pitch as far as I could see. Also, with Lithuania and Slovenia drawing, we could go top with a two goal margin win against Malta tonight. How's that for tempting fate?:greengrin

I'm glad they won - they'll likely romp a very poor group, so them keeping points off of Slovakia is good for us.
