Me and a few friends attended one of the Hibs SC parties last night; absolutely brilliant, but got us chatting about some of the greatest player Chants over the past few decades.

What comes to mind is:
- super John mcginn (achy breaks heart)
- we've got Jones, Jones! (Gold)
- he's here, he's there, he's every ****ing where, mikey weir
- 10 men couldny carry, couldny carry Nade

Any others to refresh my memory?

No Hibs but 'Charlie, Charlie, show us yer teeth'.

Old east terrace to Charlie Adam of the old Rangers. A serious fit of giggles at that one.

That reminds of "Archie's ****ging Charlie, Archie's ****ging Charlie, na na na na, na na na na". Underneath the old TV scaffolding.

The Richard Gough one, simple, effective and there was never an inappropriate moment :agree:

Me and my best friend had the dubious distinction of sparking off one of many renditions of it in the 93 LC Final, when he ventured over to take a throw-in near us. We sang many songs that day, but that's the one that sticks in the memory :greengrin

Whilst we're on the subject of tasteless chants, I'm sure John Inglis used to get it tight from us in the nineties. We've certainly not been pretty with some of our songs.

My one-off favourite is "Walking in a Harper Wonderland" after the April '98 derby. I was hoarse for days!!

For those that got repeated, it has to be "Joe, Joe, Super Joe...", invariably struck up after a few numpties in the East would give him a very vocal hard time for a perceived mistake.

Does anyone remember when the hole rape thing was doing the rounds about goodwillie and we started signing you only score when she's sleeping?
