Rate the young man very highly but can understand why they knocked us back !!!!

Shades of Scott Allan deja vu methinks

Got told we made 2 bids. Around £50k. Not sure how genuine it is.

Good player, was their only bright spot from last season, not suprised they wouldnt sell to us, same as us and the Huns last season. May have just been a way to unsettle the lad.

Nowhere near the same as Scott Allan last season. If we did bid then we kept it between the two clubs as opposed to plastering all over the papers, TV and radio. Not to mention the various social media campaigns. A world of difference IMO.

Murray has pace and works hard, but I think he lacks real ability. Will probably do well in this division, but other than weakening United I dont see what he would have offered that we dont already have in Boyle.

Indeed - probs fed to local press by Jim Spence (works for DUFC now) to cast Arabs/ST in good light.

Murray is popular with Arab fans as he gives 100% - not overly talented IMHO - but he does give his all, and always.

We enquired 3 times. Every enquiry was turned down. The last one was on transfer deadline day.

it's a strange one for me...I see his raw energy, decent shot, but don't see it to be honest...bit of a headless chicken to me

Very strange, we have 4 better strikers. Glad we didn't get him.
