Hope so. Will be interesting as Ayr probably one of the more unattractive fixtures we will have this season (that doesn't mean I'm disrespectful but realistic, I'm sure Ayr will have less appeal to many than a game against Dundee United, Raith, Falkirk etc) so if we can get another decent crowd in it will be a great sign

Hibs kids and Hibs futures so hopefully a good crowd.

Probably looking at a crowd of around 13,000 for this game. Ayr are bottom of the league and by the time it comes around our crowds should probably have settled down into the pattern for the season where we will get up to 13,000 for games like this and up to 15,000 for the bigger games. Having said that, if the TV hadn't stuck their neb in I would have been pretty confident of at least 18,000 for the Dundee Utd game.

I notice that our average for the first two home games was 15,492. If we keep that up till the end of the season Rod Petrie will be keeping the accounts under the bed with his porn collection :greengrin When was the last time a Hibs league season had a total attendance of over quarter of a million, probably the early 70s I would imagine.

An interesting take on it Finn.

Without being controversial or argumentative I feel differently.

As a club for years we would get the occasional really good crowd only to be let down on the day, a typical quote being along the lines of "I've no been here for three years and it will be another f****** three until I'm back".

However the first two home league crowds in the league this season have been nothing short of brilliant. I don't see anything that would want to stop them coming back again if their diary permits.

Secondly, it will have been three weeks since we have had a home game and hopefully fans will be gagging for a game.

Thirdly, Hibs kids day which usually adds a bit to the gate.

Upwards and onwards.

I admit to liking those crowd/dot count threads, but this one feels a bit premature. Previous behaviour tells us that Hibs fans move late on tickets, usually the last 2-3 days before the game.

This will be my first home game missed not bad for someone who lives in Yorkshire and never goes according to someone on here :-)

It's also the holiday weekend so that has the potential to take a few off the attendance. Hope not as 14,500 should be doable again 👍

I would have thought Ayr would bring a decent crowd compared to most teams esp. Morton etc..?

Hibs kids game so I'll probably end up with about 4 kids there.

I think Ayr might surprise us with the amount they bring. a lot of them will want to make a day of it, and they have turned out in fair numbers here before. we'd get as many Ayr fans as Killie fans, of that i'm sure

It's the September weekend and a few will be away, myself included.
