Only about 15-20 in the que at ER also.

Knew there wouldn't be an issue with this one. We failed on our last 3-4 attempts of selling our allocation so don't know why folk thought this one would be any different.

Exactly.

We also sold less tickets for St Mirren 2 weeks ago than we did for the equivalent fixture last season suggesting there has been no surge in away ticket demand.

I'm trying to buy Dumbarton tickets but I can't find them on the website - does anyone have a link?

Rangers are not at home that day, so traffic should be lighter (Old Firm Derby @ Celtic Park, 12.00pm KO)
I was through Dumbarton on Sunday there enroute to play golf at The Carrick, and the M8 was chronic with roadworks, so it will be M74 travelling from Peebles in a fortnight.

Arrived at Easter Road this morning at 9.45, with only around 20 in front of me, have to say i was expecting a lot more. When i left there was only a 5/6 behind me.

Anyone that purchased the away ST must be kicking themselves.

Seeing as I was tucked up in bed at 9.45 this morning with my tickets already secured, I won't be kicking myself too hard just yet. It takes the, admittedly small, hassle out of getting away tickets and I think it was a good move by the club.

Erm... Because it's obviously not needed. If you can still purchase tickets 4 hours later online or in person for a measly 700 allocation, i would say that's why.

I did waste a bit of a 15 minute car journey heading up to ER as my son phoned at 10.05 to say that he had our three tickets in a basket if needed since 10.01. He was just as surprised it was that easy.

I'll turn it around - tell me why you think an away ST is necessary? Like yerself, i've been an away regular for decades and have never not got a ticket for any game that i've wanted to attend and that included a trip to Aberdeen in the early 90's when we were only allocated a couple of hundred tickets.

Wait until the away game where we can win the league.....For me it saves me hassle as I know I have a ticket for away fixtures.

Maybe it's not for everyone, but I for one am delighted it's in place. The longer we are winning the more fans will come out to watch

Take away the couple of hundred that purchased the away season ticket, that left only 500 for a public sale. It's nearly half past two and there are still tickets for sale.

First four opening league games won - first time since when? and yet no mad scramble for such a low allocation.

I find it really strange that some of the Away season ticket holders feel the constant need to ring up the fact that they're away season ticket holder. Small ***** syndrome springs to mind. Key word here - some.

You will find it was a 'non away season ticket holder' that brought it up so your point is pish

Your comment is indeed unfair as it was myself that threw it out there.

FWIW, i have no problem with the fans that purchased the away ticket, my opinion at the time of sale felt it was unnecessary and after today that's obviously not changed.

If that's the case then it's the first time we've sold out Dumbarton. Wonder what the rush was for this season?

We sold 11k season tickets and have averaged over 15k at our first 2 home games on the back of a Scottish cup win. There's naturally going to be a bit more demand at away games.
