Is using a smart phone to scan the barcode on a print at home ticket a reliable way for entry tomorrow or is it best to have it printed off??
Sorry if been asked before

The club don't appear to endorse this, but a few fans do. Maybe they are not yet convinced of it's reliability. I'd do both to start with, and if phone works, then you are good to use in future.

I've used the phone loads, I have an iPhone. Providing you have a decent phone it should work, I would imagine most screens have a high enough resolution nowadays.

I find it can take a few attempts to get it to scan but I've always managed eventually.

works on flights nowadays, why not entering a match?

It works fine on an iPhone and used it for print for home cup tickets this season. I have my season ticket on the Stocard app and also scans fine.

Used it once and went through no bother at all.

Think it's fine as long as you don't have a cracked screen or screen protector which makes it hard to scan.

As a side note to this thread I wish the club would remove the picture of the supporters from the ticket; it uses all my ink up from my printer.

Print in grey scale not colour works just the same and saves a fair bit of ink.

If you find its not working turn the brightness up and you'll be good to go.

Will be trying on my iPhone tomorrow. If anything it's more clear than a 30 quid inkjet printer.

Never let me down in the past and I don't envisage any problems tomorrow
