The auction (http://www.lewistestimonialauction.com/lite-ui/#home) is now live and there's some cracking prizes on offer

I'm humbled and proud to be one of two funds that will be recipients of the proceeds and it is testimony to the man Lewis is that he chose two funds with Hibs connections to benefit :not worth

Anyone fancy clubbing together to bid on the day out at Newcastle races?

£600 is a bit steep for me but it's for 20 people, 20 of us put £50 each in and that's £1000.

Not really a racing fan, but that's a good idea so could be interested if the numbers are there. Might know a few others as well so will ask around.

Well done the guys behind this and to Lewis for wanting Hibs connected Charities to benefit. :clapper: Wee man you're a Legend.

I'm sorely tempted to have a big bid for the match ball.

Does anyone know any more about this one? Was it the one that hit the net for the winner?

Anyone managed to estimate how many balls were in play on the day from re-watching the game over and over?

John Mcginn punted the match winning ball into the north stand at the full time whistle

If you look back in the footage all the ballboys have a ball. Ball kicked out nearly always a different ball comes back in. Guess there must be 15-20 ball boys given the size of Hampden.

I've not counted, but there must be about £20,000 worth of bids and still rising. Add in the other testimonial events and Lewis could be making over £100,000 for charity.

Guys,

I know there has been a bit of interest in the races at newcastle on the 04/11, our table bid for this and won it, however with one reason or another we are struggling to get the numbers. It cost approx £2k, so it will be £100 a head if anyone is interested.

We also won the pool night with John McGinn and again this is proving difficult to fill, the cost of this is £235 per person.

If anyone is interested in any of the above, please send me a PM for further details.

Thanks
