Another sell out. Now when and where did I hear this last? True on that occasion but normally a loadapish.

Get those tickets bought guys! The 16k was a really good healthy sight and definitely played a part in our win. Bigger crowds install more confidence in the players!

Exactly .... a full house at ER is over 20,000.

Having said that, a decent and realistic aim is doing our best to sell out all 3 stands that are normally reserved for Hibs fans, if we can do that we will be achieving a better average crowd than we have had in over 40 years and that will more than do for me.

Yes, for our purposes a full house is around 16K and whatever the away fans bring. We were about 500 short of that at the Dunfermline game. I suspect we'll be about 3,-3.5K down for Morton game and won't get back to that level till we play Dundee United or Raith (assuming the stay in promo hunt), but I'd love to be proven wrong and have us hitting 15K home fans every game.

Just checked the seat counter thing online and it looks like we'll be getting a lot more than 13,000.

There's not that much availability in any of the three home stands so I would say that an attendance of around 15,000 could be on the cards.

If we get 15,000 against Morton, or even close to it, something clearly is brewing around the club, as Lennon might say.

Our neighbours will be most upset.

A very very rough dot count from me and I reckon we have 900-1100 in east left, about 800 - 1000 in famous five and about 1300-1500 in west so say 3500 available would suggest then 12500 sold.

Assume sales of another 1k min pre game and another 1.5k walk ups plus 250 Morton less season ticket no shows than c14k.

I do not like to try and make fun of any club's numbers , if they are prepared to turn up and support their team then fair play to them. Greenock Morton are a long established club with some standing which can easily be compared to better supported West of Scotland teams who have only recently been formed:wink:

On the back of us selling 11k for this season in the Championship I've already been pondering just how many we might get upon our Premiership return next year, and I don't think you're too far off the mark! Could be around 14k, with walk ups and away crowds we could (could) be looking at crowds between 15-16k regularly (21k at the biggies) at Easter Road next season!

The Scottish Cup win has lifted this club massively!

We should be aggressively pushing away season tickets for Hearts fans through their supporters websites. Even selling just 1% to Hearts fanbase would be 4,000, and it would sell out the South Stand and ensure some 20,500 capacity crowds. We could offer inducements, like a father and daughters and sons toileting facilities. Instead of commemorative stones, we could have a commemorative sex offenders list.

Any dot counters? I counted 1005 remaining in east on Monday.

Not got exact numbers but less than 1000 in the East now.

Sections 39 to 43 have less than 200 total. 38 has 100 at a guess. Section 44 was green this morning but I think may change to yellow very soon. That only leaves the wee end sections 37 and 45 which only really sell at the end.

In the FF there was only 68 left in the bottom tier this morning, more in the upper with sections 22 and 25 still green.

In the west not a lot of seats left in sections 3,4,5,6 and 7, maybe 100 total. Sections 12,13 and 14 in the upper less than 30 total. Sections 1,2,9,10,11 and 15 still green.

At a guess I reckon 13,500 just now which is good going for a Wednesday.

Section 49 which is the hospitality/comps area is a mystery really as it is always unavailable for online purchases. IMO this area is too big.
