They're broadcasting the game on Saturday, but when I try to log into their page it tells me that I'm in the UK. Being over 6,000 miles away, I don't know how they can reach that conclusion.

Has anyone else had a look at this and had the same problem?

I've sent them an email and if I get a reply I'll keep you informed. I might have to experiment with a proxy to find a country that they deem as being outside the UK.

A 12 thousand mile round trip? Even if it was Real Madrid we were playing that would be dedication, St. Midden though...

Sorry if your post was in jest, could be a whoosh moment from me :)

If he got on a plane just now, I'm sure he would make it to Paisley in time for 3pm on Saturday.

And if he got a flight into Glasgow then it would be ideal as it's only down the road.

No links, if you have google chrome download hola add on. Which can change your internet browser to re route to a different country thus letting you access the match which of course would be against the rules all hypothetically speaking of course

I emailed them explaining I couldn't find the option to buy and received the following:

"Hi John,

I’m aware of the issue and have been working with our hosting site to try and resolve the issue.

As things stand you won’t have to pay for the game as we had an issue with our paywall and there hasn't been a resolution. This means just going on to smfcuws.tv will allow you to access the game free of charge.

Regards,
James"

Happy days.

I thought the picture was much blurrier than whats offered on Hibs TVI had no blurring and picture , sound ,replays , etc were excellent today but I don`t mean that as a criticism of Hibs TV . Hibs TV film from the top of the West while Paisley stands are much smaller so there are not so many problems for filming matches on a limited budget . Technical experts will be able to say how important camera position etc is important with modern technology . Whatever , important thing is that fans of Hibs , St Mirren , Raith etc all over the globe ( except in GB and Ireland ) can see their teams in action .

Thought St Mirren TV was very good. Crystal clear picture, which I never get with Hibs TV unfortunately. Interesting, because I contacted Hibs TV last week with a complaint about quality of picture, pausing, buffering etc and they blamed it all on Australian Internet.
Last night highlighted that may not be the case and it can be done....!

Also thought the commentary was pretty fair and unbiased.

Bonus that it was free.....!

Edit: to clarify, when I try to watch in HD or one of the clearer streams, it pauses and buffers. The only way I get a constant stream is by dropping the quality of the picture.
Not an issue last night and wasn't an issue last season.

I believe that Connor Rafferty is at the same University and apparently HTV have had others at uni's do work for them. Quite a good playform for those wanting to work in the industry to get experience and put on CVs

If the problem was with HibsTV then we would all suffer buffering and pausing. I don't and it seems plenty of others don't either. The service was bad a couple of seasons ago when every single viewer reported the same issues. This has been fixed for a lot of us but it is not good if you and perhaps others are still having difficulties.

... stream was fine here in Germany, apart from some slight buffering during 1st half - a free stream, I'm not going to complain, last season's broadcast from SM was perfect.

.... I was referring to the reverse camera angles, i.e. the various camera angles, the replays from the various camera angles, the on-screen text when a substitutation is made the half-time show (prevous games and so on) - St Mirren had all that last season too. Hibs TV is slowly introducing things like this - but I feel it is fair to suggest that if a club like St Mirren can do such a good job then our club - with our resources and aspirations - should be able to do more.

I see Hibs TV have thrown up "highlghts" with no audio again - seems a bit of a half-hearted effort at times from the club

I've got the same problem. The quality of the stream was perfect until January, but since then I can only manage stream 4 - yet I can stream Match of the Day live using a proxy and it's HD quality. I'd assumed I was being throttled by my provider on Hibs TV, and have been nagging them a lot, but it might be something else.
