Loved Dirty Dick Lehmann. Always gave 100% and loved jumping spectacularly early for headers and hang in the air.

Remember when he signed Chick Young did one of the worst and mostly cringy interviews ever trying to explain to him that now he's in Edinburgh he needs to understand what 'you'll have had yer tea' means. Dirk just looked at him as if to say wtf are you on about.

It was Baltic that night. But the bouncing and the singing made it feel a bit warmer. What a Night!

My wee brother was involved at Eros and Elite at that time. He knew a few of the players of that era very well, they were in a lot and he has more than a few stories to tell.

He loved Dirk, thought he was a great lad. One of the things he told me though was that whilst they all liked him, Dirk wasn't really rated by the other players. TBH they thought he was pretty honking and couldn't work out how he managed to get a game for us.

Funny how players will sometimes see things differently to the fans.
