deary me. some already making silly snide remarks about an ex-Hibernian manager who actually took us to semi-finals, and cup finals and had the temerity to win us a cup which no man alive in the northern hemisphere has seen or heard of our last victory in that final. maybe some auld deary living in the Andes or Himalayas still has a programme:rolleyes: and, although not on this thread we have others that actually hate our current manager. Your memory is playing tricks on you I think.
Steaua played Barcelona in the 1986 European Cup Final. It was a dire game right enough. 0-0 after 90, 0-0 after extra time then Steaua won 2-0 on penalties.
Definitely not one of the classic finals.
