Must be t-shirts I think threw me off for a while thought it was a very stubborn card display. City will get plenty penalties if this team continue tackling like this.

Bit like the last 2 seasons he had at Hibs, both were poor, but I wish Alan well

3 Outstanding saves already. Cheeky wee bid please Neil :aok:

You have to be soulless or be a City fan to not want Steaua to win.

:agree: I don't take any pleasure out of seeing him struggle.

I hope he makes a success of things down there.

Maybe if he had taken Rotheram to La Manga for pre season training they would have hit the ground running. Oh wait how did that go again.

0-5. CL now a very predictable and uninteresting competition. The gap between top teams and others is too big. In their own bubble.

It is really. Just know that the circle of potential winners is ever dwindling.

Maybe Stubbs will change his mind about coming in for one of our players

deary me. some already making silly snide remarks about an ex-Hibernian manager who actually took us to semi-finals, and cup finals and had the temerity to win us a cup which no man alive in the northern hemisphere has seen or heard of our last victory in that final. maybe some auld deary living in the Andes or Himalayas still has a programme:rolleyes: and, although not on this thread we have others that actually hate our current manager. I do despair sometimes

The boy on the Steaua Twitter account has lost the plot big time.I remember watching Steaua Bucharest snatching an early lead in a European cup final and proceeding to provide the world s viewers with one of the most boring ever , finals to win the cup. the most undeserved win in a final ever, was my thoughts but I cant even remember the runners up

Strange to think which one of those teams actually have been champions of Europe.

I'm neither but, I did have a HT-FT double on Citeh and B&HA so, was quite happy for City to win. :-)

The inevitable consequence of unregulated free market capitalism, as I'm sure you agree ;-)

Your memory is playing tricks on you I think.
Steaua played Barcelona in the 1986 European Cup Final. It was a dire game right enough. 0-0 after 90, 0-0 after extra time then Steaua won 2-0 on penalties.
Definitely not one of the classic finals.

It also wasn't their official Twatter account, just a fan going bonkers.
