We're not firing on all cylinders but a win was essential.
Pluses:
1. Three points
2. Improved fight from Tuesday
Minuses:
1. Failure to take chances (yawn)
2. Too many chances created from set pieces rather than open play
3. Defence carved up in open play by QOS now DAFC, neither of whom will be force in this league.
4. Crowd about 500+ down on most estimates, perhaps explained by ST holders on holiday.
McGeough's vision and creativity and Fyvie's industry and reading of the game sorely needed in a stodgy engine room.
