Aberdeen crowds are normally around 14-15000.. I reckon there won't be much between the two.

As for Celtic, they are not playing in the league this weekend as they are too busy jet-setting off to Ireland to play a meaningless friendly.

Don't think Aberdeen will have more and Celtic not playing.

For those reasons I'm going for us.

Added to the fact that the Pars usually have a good travelling support.

Aberdeen won't have more. They'll sell around 13K home tickets at best. Their opposition will take far fewer traveling supporters than DAFC.

Not so sure the Pars will have many on this occasion - maybe 800 or so I'd guess (hope I am wrong).

Sure I read elsewhere they were expecting. Around 1500

Aberdeen will have around 17-18K with it being 3pm Saturday. I expect 1500-2000 Merricks to travel.

The sheep managed just under 13k and 10k v Hearts last year

I think we'll be the largest supported team in Scotland on Saturday, but not have the largest game attendance.

Just matters that we get another 3 points though.

One was the last game of the season and a dead rubber at 12.30 on Sunday and I suspect the other was on TV. This one is 3pm on Saturday and one if their biggest games of the season. They will have a good crowd.

A pars fan on the other thread has said they have only sold 300 so far .
But there is a cash gate .

I'm not saying they'll not have a good crowd. 4-5k on top of that is a huge jump just for a 3 o'clock ko.

Their highest league home attendance outside Celtic was 15,100 v ICT which was 1500 more than their next highest v Dundee. They averaged 12.5k and there really isn't anything to suggest they'll get anywhere near 17-18k

Surely the grunts will be taking their usual 400k to Pittodrie?

Hearts will bring at least 1k more than ICT and there were over 17k at the Maribor game. The club do normally shout about ticket sales when they're on for a bumper crowd, which they haven't been doing so maybe ticket sales aren't as good as I'm expecting.

I run a pub near the stadium so take a keen interest in their crowds as it has a big effect on business, staffing etc.

They got good crowds in their European games. A couple even got 20k last season

League games excluding Celtic is a different story where they average about 12.5k. They've got no where near 17-18k other than Celtic.

I'm not convinced the current mood at the PBS will see them take a larger than normal traveling support either.
