View Full Version : How much should Hibs charge for the Scottish Cup run Bluray/DVD?

As long as it has highlights from all the games, and player/management team interviews, I'll pay just about anything, but I hope it's affordable for everyone.

Would £25 and £20 be reasonable? :dunno:

Would you pay more?

Should they charge less?

£11.40 or £19.02

Got to bear in mind that there are production and licensing costs and a limited audience. It will obviously cost more than buying a copy of the latest blockbuster movie from Tesco so I'd expect it go for around £20.

£20.16 surely?

I just really hope that there is a Blu Ray version.

I'd certainly be willing to pay £25 for it. Or more.

Don't care as I'll buy it anyway but £25 seems reasonable

I reckon it will be £20-£25 quid.

I hope it's got the highlights of previous rounds..some cup final build up..the game..celebrations at stadium and after then the parade and interviews from players after the occasion.

Some cheesy music like the team that wouldn't die in 1991 would be perfect also.

Would pay more than 20 if there was a bluray

This. A premier screening ocean terminal cinema :agree::greengrin

£25 for a blu-ray. Had to bin my Tivo box so lost my HD footage of the full match. Gutting!

All I hope is that Hibs do the cup run and Final justice ! Last thing we need is a cheapo, half baked effort that's little better than anything we've already got on Utube.

A quality, full blown DVD would be the kind of thing Hibs fans would treasure and look back on decades from now. Would pay £25-30 if the quality was good.

I'll pay £100 for a special edition containing a swatch of David Gray's jockstrap. £150 if it is still unwashed.

Anything over £15 would be too much for a Championship club DVD.

If it doesn't have highlights of the previous rounds, a lot of people will be very disappointed and sales will be well down on their potential.

£25 seems correct with a special edition at £50 with a few extra features and a fancier box for those easier parted with their cash.

£25 seems like a decent shout .. if its on a par with the 2007 league cup DVD I would be more than happy with that, I think they made a really good job of it. As I've said before on here, for some reason that I still cant figure out I find the wee bit at the end with the music and pictures of all the different fans getting ready to head off to the game really moving .... it would be nice to see something similar on this one.

The £25 one will of course be the poverty edition. For the Prawn sandwich brigade there can be a delux version with every game in full in DEEP BLUE RAY signed by all the players contained in a metal box with an embossed club crest on the front and each disc contained in its own Green velvet pocket. £100 should do it :greengrin

The 07 DVD was pretty good. Had highlights from the previous rounds, the full 90 mins of the final, behind the scenes footage, parade footage, interviews etc etc. Hoping for more of the same with this one. As for price, i'm happy to pay anything tbh, its a dvd i'll certainly never tire of watching thats for sure!

I'm hoping it's available on digital download from iTunes. I will buy both, but never open the dvd. I'd just bring it out every now and again and look at and smile. The memories of that day will never fade ggtth.

I've already paid £160+ for a framing of my ticket program and photo so £25 for a DVD isn't going to stop me from parting with cash for anything associated with the greatest sporting memory I have had in my lifetime.
