"Two cheeks of the same ar$e" is a cliche that is surely well past its best and should now be retired.
A new derogatory simile for the OF required.
I have a mate who has one normal sized baw and one that is spectacularly large. That's how I like to think of the OF they are both baws in the same bawbag just that one is a bit of a bigger baw!!

'Melt' appears to be the put down en vogue.

The golden rule seems to be that the user of that term is generally the one it fits best. Anyway, surely 'Welt' is the more fitting Edinburgh term.

Sorry I never knew these rules. I’ll make sure I use “welt” instead!!!

Two bald men fighting over a comb. It's ludicrous.

A new derogatory simile for the OF required.Different cheeks from the same erse works for me. In their own unique ways keeping religion and ancient history alive in Scotland and Scottish football.

Honestly can’t say I’ve noticed! I’ll have to be more aware from now on.

If you've not noticed, I'd just leave it. Cliches have a habit of getting on your tits after a while.

There's a classic on the Lee McCulloch thread from a close friend or colleague of his. "Never management material".

Lennon: (pre-Hibs) "A face you would never tire of punching."

Lennon: (Hibs); "The best manager we've had. A winner. Full of dignity and class. Hate the way he's been targeted by bigots."

"That's a great piece of business"

Don't know why, just annoys me. Fans referring to football as 'business' is like a 12 year old referring to a playground fight as 'politics'.
