View Full Version : Transfer speculation in the Press

In years gone by we've done our transfer business quietly and only announce when done. There is a lot of speculation and comment from NL on enquiries for Hendo etc.
Is this affecting our ability to get these players? I've never been a fan of clubs detailing that they've been in contact etc.

Half the rime the press just report what's on here and the PM board. NL doesnt seem to deflect direct questions. So suspect no change in club policy.

I 'll make a wild guess that 92.32% of the leaks come from player's agents hoping to raise up interest from other clubs.

Agree with other points but u can't recall time when our manager came out with ' we've approached ' or 'enquirer about' in the press.
Not a criticism and seriously hope that we get Hendo on a perm deal.
