Unless I'm mistaken they don't appear to have updated their stats - wonder why?

The web master was quite a helpful, knowledgeable and decent bloke - helping out with some Hibee queries here and there and helpfully reminding of other stuff ;)

The webmaster has relocated back to Edinburgh (well, nearby) and is heavily involved in working on the Hearts Museum which is opening sometime soon.

Not saying that revising Hibs cup records would be top of his list, mind you!

Hearts museum eh? Should be a large section on the league cup since its ancient history the last time that was in tynecastle. I'm sure the webmaster is all over it.

Will a list of the charities small buisneses tax & council debts be pride of place in the ' museum'

I can donate a list of charities that Hearts have bumped if he wants to create a poster?

I thought they killed us in 2012?

I trust that the Hearts Museum will reference and highlight the decade when corrupt East European criminals doctored, fiddled, evaded and deceived in order for HOMFC to gain an unfair advantage on the pitch -resulting in silverware being won, including the infamous 2012 Scottish cup against a club that operated within its means and in an honest fashion.
To this day, this great travesty of justice lies unaddressed, as millions disappeared into dodgy overseas accounts - denying vast sums owed to HMRC, dozens of small businesses and most contemptiously to charities.
Their immoral and unethical practices during the Romanov years remain a blight on Scottish Football.
The very least that should have happened was for HOMFC to be stripped of any titles won and demoted to division 3.

Spot on. Sadly a lot of their fans have brushed it off already. 'Businesses go into administration every single day' a jambo work colleague told me quite recently [emoji849]

I'd place a significant amount of money that this museum will significantly highlight their two Scottish cup wins under 'Mr Romanov' but there won't be much mention of the debts. Shameful if so.

Isn't that the site that states their 'Home' attendance record as 57,000... for a game that was actually played at Murrayfield!

Where Hibs lead they will follow.

I understand Lady Budgie has already been down to Easter Road looking for tips!

The hearts museum is just a tour of the main stand, it's a relic dating back to a time where people walked really fast and lived in black and white.

Other highlights include the asbestos that fell from the roof onto punters below and the 40W stairwell lightbulb still waiting to be changed.

And the vintage calor gas heaters in the John Robertson suite, they're so old they have to have a canary in the corner on match days.

There's also a large box of share certificates that never went out gathering dust

I agree with that, helped find a few bits of info and even put up a programme I sent them!

Not overly sympathetic with the bit about building a new museum or whatever it is though - How difficult is it to put a shed up? a floor, four panels and a ready felted roof from B&Q ffs.

Wonder which "version of the truth" will be portrayed in the muesum...? Usually factually based.

Guy who runs the site clearly loves his stats, but the section on Hibs shows just how much that lot are obsessed (defined, perhaps) by us.

An entire section with pages and pages of stuff about our cup record - weird or what?

I bet some of them haven't even accepted that we won it yet!

To be fair to the Saviles when I went searching for an old post of mine with details of their financial crime I found a nice summary of theirs:

http://www.hmfckickback.co.uk/index.php?/topic/146456-summary-of-hearts-financial-position-over-the-romanov-years/

Spending more on wages year upon year than they brought in - fuelled by crime:
2005-06: Net debt £30m, Loss of £7m, Turnover £10.2m, Wages £10m
2006-07: Net debt £38m, Loss of 13m, Turnover £10m, Wages £13m
2007-08: Net debt £31m, Loss of 3.5m, Turnover £9.2m, Wages £11.3m
2008-09: Net debt £34.8m, Loss of £8.6m, Turnover £8.3m, Wages £10.5m
2009-10: Net debt £36.1m, Profit of £39k, Turnover £7.9m, Wages £9.1m

Scottish cup wins from 98 onwards fuelled by debt and latterly Vlad's financial crime
Debt:
1997 -1,901
1998 -5,481
1999 -6,018
2000 -6,799
2001 -10,238
2002 -14,789
2003 -17,628
2004 -19,621
2005 -21,526 Includes £2M debt forgiveness
2006 -28,405
2007 -36,249
2008 -30,477 Includes £12M DFE swap
2009 -34,779
2010 -36,100 Includes £8M debt forgiveness
2011 -24,030 Includes £10M DFE swap
2012 -24,677 Includes £8.8M debt forgiveness
2013 -26,223

Remember, that's £26m debt still in 2013 despite the £38.8m that had already been wiped to keep them a going concern. Not a problem when Romanov's financial crime was paying for it.

The biggest crime of all though was Salmond's intervention to "persuade" the Lithuanians to take Budge's brass neck offer which amounted to about £2m actual receipts for a football club including a fair bit of land in Edinburgh that had previously been agreed for sale at £20m. Budgie saw a bargain there and will make a pretty penny.

And that Gorgie ph@nny had the cheek to remove the Romanov tattoo from his back. They stayed at Tynecastle, won 3 Scottish Cups and ended up debt free virtually because of him ripping off Lithuanians, Bosnians, Charities and a Gorgie Newsagents among countless many others to achieve this.

For any Fiddlers looking in these are FACTS so your best defence rather than claiming there are any lies in this (from your own fans page) is to move to your response mode of "Bitter Hobos are obsessed".

I thought they killed us in 2012?

They did, but they missed us, so thoughtfully resurrected us by throwing away a two goal lead and setting us up to break the 114 year cup hoodoo.

The whole JR lounge is being lifted and shifted into the new museum with a waxwork of the old soak himself, propping up the bar in the corner sporting a fetching Rab C Nesbitt string vest and heid bandage.
