That's how they got themselves into the pre Sevco days problems. Surely not!!
If this is their recruitment plan for next season they have a problem. Maybe they should bring back Kris Boyd!!!
The Prem Clubs will be gunning for them...............so wish we were there because we'd whip them regularly.

These big name players are always looking to go play in the less popular leagues, for less money, and no European football. Between that and the fact he'll get to play with such footballing luminaries as Danny Wilson and Andy Halliday, I think it's a cert he'll end up at Ibrox.

I reckon that this has stemmed from a simple typo and has grown arms and legs... It was supposed to say 'RIP to Rangers'.

This brought a nice contented smile to my face :)

Couldn't imagine anything funnier than them driving the new club into administration paying van Persie to sit on the treatment table plus of course the other wage increases that would be demanded in light of his salary.

Maybe they just think it's unfair not to tour their peculiar brand of unwashed, bigoted ****** wittery around all Scotland's towns so they're going for another crack at climbing the pyramid.....

Utter bollocks if you ask me. PR stunt if anything and their wee puppets within the media are lapping it up big time.

How the Scottish media works:
1) L5 invent RVP to Sevco tale
2) L5 client offer odds/closes book
3) STV & media report Lbrokes closing book

Not arguing but when a "book" is closed 9 times out of ten the move takes place.

Closing a book before a deal is confirmed is purely for publicity. They could offer really short odds and a stake limit but by closing the book that bookie get their name on the back page of all the papers and discussed social media.

I really hope this happens now, turns 33 next week already starting to be hampered by injury the past 2/3 years not to forget some of the crazy injuries he took at Arsenal when he was younger .... He'd be lucky to make 20 appearances for TRFC.

It won't happen though .... If they can't stump up cash to Accrington Stanley on time and even struggled to buy O'Halloran from St Johnstone, I can't see this happening!

I'd like to see the stats to back that up!

FWIW there are still at least 2 bookies offering odds on this (brief glance shows SkyBet at 4/6 and Betfair Sportsbook at 4/7), but I'll not be partaking!

Celtic were linked with Ibrahamovic so this is Sevco's way (through their media cohorts) to say look at us we are big aswell , we can be linked with big players so that their Zombie fans can lap it up.

Just had a text from a mate ( was a good mate before I found out he was a Hun )
It said " that's us signing Van Persie , the bookies have closed the book ".
I told him that rumour was laughed off on here , a couple of weeks ago and that he knocked back West Ham , cause they wouldn't meet his 125k wages .
His reply . "We're bigger than West Ham ".
Offered him even money on them signing RVP . Heard nothing back . Deluded I tell you .

Celtsarehere.com are claiming they started it . They put up a picture of Van Persie , saying he was about to sign for Sevco . But anyone who clicked on the link were took to a page telling them about Old Rangers insolvency.( As a vast amount of Orcs can't read , they have seen the picture and hey ho , their signing Van Persie )

Netted the bookies a few bob as well, which I'm not usually a fan of but in this instance I'm prepared to make exception.

Yep, and trapped in another universe, maybe the Dutch players have moved on and don't glory in being up to their knees in anyone's blood these days.

Orange tops, England tops, WTF are they doing in Scotland?

It's on my iPad which isn't working. Touch screen on it won't work so can't enter my password. Tried resetting and the power/square button thing but still doesn't work. Gutted cause it was the same weekend as our trip down to London for the Jets game so can't access those photos either.

Really can't see this but would be a great signing for The Huns if 1) they could pull it off, 2) afford it, and 3) keep him fit. I'm quite sceptical about any one of these never mind all 3.

If RVP is really driven by money then China is probably the right move. But you do have to question if/why someone in his position would move there purely for financial reasons. He must have, to all intents and purposes, infinite money so surely he'd move somewhere he'd play regularly and enjoy living (while also earning a fortune).
