Apologies if posted elsewhere but reports in the papers say Gary Harkins is looking to leave Dundee. He's training with the kids while the club work out a settlement as he has one year left on his contract.

I've been impressed with Harkins. Attacking midfielder who can get amongst the goals and has captained his team so knows his to be an influence on the pitch. Not sure if he's exactly what we need but we could do worse.

He's crap.

He's got loads of ability.

I suspect his attitude may have something to do with it. He's a big unit too and wouldn't fit into Lennon's style of play anyway.

Very smart player - impressed with him every time I've seen him (which isn't very often I must admit). Always seemed to cause problems and good in the air.

Be very happy if we got him.

He's got the skills but not sure about his work rate

He's definitely got some skill but looks to me to not have been able to make the best of his abilities. I'd be asking why that is. He's 31 and never played for a club as big as Hibs (even accepting the fact we're in the Championship at the moment). I'd also be asking why that is. He's also slow. Jim Duffy would have signed him though I think.

Would be very surprised if Lennon wanted to add Harkins to the squad

If it had been Stewart or Hemmings then Hell yeah but Harkins is like a footballer from the 70s. He might be skillfull but he is not an athlete in the slightest.

I presume you are not comparing him with Turnbull's Tornadoes!!!
