For his time on the the park he was Captain Fantastic again. Like all of our players he took some rough treatment and if the referee had been in any way decent he would have offered more protection but seemed to let everything go. Boy that clogged Gray not even cautioned.

Which brings me to the question. Any news on Gray's shoulder?

Also I realised this morning that he scored our last competitive goal of last season and the first competitive goal of this season.

Not bad for a fullback.

Looked to me like broken collarbone or such like 4 to 6 weeks probably.

Lennon said in his radio interview that it looked like he'd be out for 10 days or so.

Pleased with that really feared it could have been worse. Plenty of time before league kicks off to recover

Good, I had feared worse. Brilliant performance from him again last night.

Gray was immense. Knock must have really hurt for him to go off.
Hope Lennon is right. Davy such a key part of the team. He has been a quick healer in the past so here's hoping he is ok for Falkirk.

What a goal by him last night.

He's a proper captain.

Would run through brick walls for the team and drags others with him

That sounds vaguely cruel.

Lennon rightly says 10 days or so.Mark of a good manager -give no info to future opponents.

Is there any truth in the rumour that S.H.I.E.L.D have contacted Hibs to enquire about the availability of our captain fantastic joining The Avengers? hope not cause we need him more than they do. I reckon he'd make Hulk **** his pants!!

in all seriousness though - what a pro the guy is. bombs up and down all game. Funny what a year can do, this time last season there was thread's on here saying we needed a new right back. Hope he can recover soon and be fit to lead the club against Falkirk in the opener
