Will be interesting to see how many get on that train, a lot of people complaining that it is far too early

Would get to the ground before 6.30pm for an 8.00pm KO

Police obviously don't want fans mixing for some reason

Do you think it's a freebie journey?

I only ask as I'm arriving Thursday just before 13:00 and was going to buy a 24 hour transport pass for 80 DKK as I fly back at about 10:30 on Friday morning.

I would say so, if they expect 8 or 900 hibs fans to line up at a kiosk to buy a ticket I think they are in for a surprise, freebie looks good

I would probably hold off on the 24h ticket

I'm buying one of those all zones passes, too and I'd imagine that this will be included.

I'm assuming there'll be a train back into the centre after the match?

How are they getting us back after the match😄

I assume we will be escorted back on to a return train after the match.

I would guess a police escort back to the station, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if police keep us in for around 15 or so mins after the game to let their fans get away.

A police escort is what we shall get before the game when we get off the train

More like 30 minutes after the game when we pump them!!!

I'm not getting that train it's far to early. I'd be surprised if many did. The rail system is cheap so it's not an issue

If the train is a regular service, the next station on the line is Glostrop. It looks a tad closer to the stadium and there's also a few bars in the area.

I don't fancy the thought of losing drinking time due to being hustled into the ground an hour before KO.

Don't think it's all to do with a policing choice, it's common culture in Denmark, and my European countries, to be in the ground as soon as it opens, to set up flags, drums, etc and sing for an hour before kick off. The' probably chosen that train as they'd think we want to do the same.

Plenty time for a bevy, will do what majority in our group do. Carry out around the ground seems a popular choice and I'm sure Brondbyfan on this forum said there would be no problem

The 24 hour travel pass only takes in zones 1 - 4. Glostrop is in zone 5.

The more I think about, It is early, but I'll go for it.
Will get us to around the stadium around 6.30 or so. Have a look at anything worth seeing at the ground

I've got 34 hours to drink before the match and can still drink a carry out around the ground, I'm on the Hibee Special.

It's like the police don't want us mixing with the locals. Maybe they got wind of what happened on Easter rd after the game and Brondby fans are plotting revenge.

Hope it is a better escorts than after the AEK in Athens. That was full riot police shields & batons drawn walking through a dark field after game. Auld Mo was cream crackered after that.

The most shocking part of the information was, while it cost me 46 quid to take me and my laddies to the home game. It would be only £11.80!! to get us into the away leg.
I cant recall Bromby raking in huge sums from Sky. So how can they manage, especially when the cost of living is arguably higher (as are wages) in Denmark, making attending football an even smaller outlay compared to income for ordinary fans.
We truly are treated like utter mugs in this country.

Danish football has a much more lucrative TV deal than Scotland.

Why? The dont sell it outside their country.

I believe we have one of the highest (if not thee highest) attendances to match ratios per capita in Europe.
Based on quite old figures, but i recall only Albania was higher (you got into games for nowt). Other older stats (maybe 10 years old) stated 1 in 49 Scots regularly attend football matches compared to 1 in 72 in England. I also believe that more Scots per capita subscribe to football sports channels.

We are doing something terribly wrong in this country when it comes to running/organising our national sport.

You'd have to ask the SFA/SPFL how it is that Danish Football is paid 20 times the amount for TV coverage that Scottish Football gets.

I'm sure Hibs would be delighted to charge less to encourage more punters through the gates but sadly we don't get enough from other sources.

If you want to get the football special there and back, it is 50Kr. You need the ticket before boarding and can't get it from the machines. There are guys walking round selling them.
