Are those odds about right or is there some value to be had?

Based on last weeks game those odds seem way off.

They do apparently have a few other players they can bring in but no idea how much difference that'll make.

I personally think they'll have one eye on the Berlin game and if they take our frame for granted then I think we'll win.

No sure I'm brave enough to bet on it mind, but i do think we've got a chance

I think that Brondby will be a different outfit at home and will be considerably better than what we seen at Easter Road.
On the flip side I'd expect them to come out at us and open up a bit more, that could allow us the space to get in behind.
I'm quietly confident that we can do it (although in some circles I may be described as a "happy clapper") and whilst I fully understand why Hibs are priced so highly I'll definitely be having a punt on them.
Doesn't really answer your question but I think it's worth a few quid.

Look at Scottish teams record away from home in Europe it is DIRE there was one shock a few years back when St J beat Rosenberg yet they were quickly dispatched in the next round. Some very good Celtic teams have failed to win away from home year on year.

So IMHO Hibs have a punchers chance but the likelihood of a win is probably greater than 15/2 there is no value for me.

Stick £20 on us, it'll pay for your flight to Berlin.

Aberdeen were 7/2 away against Rijeka Last season and won 3-0

We'll beat them. We're 5/1 to qualify and I'll be having £30 on that very outcome.

The loss of Fyvie is a blow. Could have been doing with him on Thursday.

I thought the idea was to place money on the other team, to soften the blow when we lose.

Though I can't imagine you'd win much by putting a tenner on Brondby to win... 50p maybe?

Better putting money on the win. We have to win to progress anyway.

we could win 1-0 and not qualify.

Yup, if we don't lead at FT we are out anyway.

The odds are fair enough. The probability is that they have another gear at home and win two or three zero.

However, if they underestimate us and think the job is done, they could be in trouble, especially if we produce a disciplined and committed performance. Worth a little punt.

surely the price to qualify should be bigger then no? Why would someone take a punt on us to qualify at a lesser price rather than take 15/2 on us to win in 90 which we have to do in order to qualify :dunno:

I will be sticking enough money on the win to cover the trip to Berlin. If we win its party time, if we lose then the trip to Berlin won't be happening anyway.

I think it's decent value but won't be lumping on it.

Would probably have us around 11/2

I watched the highlights of the game from Sunday against Esbjerg and was practically the same team, but for what I gather Esbjerg appear to be about the quality of say a Raith or Falkirk, so a 4-0 win may be looking at too much, but Hibs for 90 minutes at home were the better side and I'd fancy them to win if played the same again, an early goal could make the difference.

40/1 to win 2-0.
