Nice to see the minutes silence at Motherwell impeccably observed by all.

Rangers first ever game in the top league, getting a footballing lesson of Motherwell. Only rusty finishing saving the Huns. Not a mention of their last competitive game yet (strange that).

How useless is wally? (No, not their manager, he's useless as well though) but the other wally on the pitch? Brutal.

Andy Halliday just had a good effort for Rangers.

Poor lad I heard he could have won the cup but something went wrong.

It was all of the vicious goading from the opposition fans I hear. He's barely managed to recover.

:agree: The rangers making their first attempt at winning a bigger cup than the Petrofac trophy, the pinnacle of their knockout trophy campaign since they were founded.

What a miss from McDonald ..

Think we dodged a bullet. I know he has always been stocky but attended last weeks friendly and thought he looked considerably overweight tbh

I'll be eternally grateful for the random free kick he gave us after 94 minutes had passed.

I dont think the pen Sutton is banging on about was remoteley deliberate or even unatural. whatis he on?

From what I've seen from 'well twice this season they've got a long season ahead of them. Can't see any relegation odds priced though

Aye maybe not but the keeper was a mile outside and blocked with his arm!

What a humiliating start to the season for Murderwell, losing 2-0 at home to the new club.

Know it was only a friendly last week but they were very poor tbh so not to surprised. I suppose the Huns will be lauded in Monday's rags

Didn't realise we play in the cup, the week between our 1st game away to Falkirk, and home to Dunfermline.
For some reason I thought it was at the end of August

My thoghts exactly !
Today was a bit baffled as to what system they were operating ~ I.E. at the second goal there wasn't a 'Well player on their left defsnsive flank when the ball was put over for Waghorn to score
Few problems ahead methinks !!

St Mirren had three shots on target and scored from them all
Combination of Sutton and Clarkson upfront
We have them away third game in so we de fo need to hit the ground running
Some good early fixtures
Might have to settle for seat in home section if we win our first two games
Starting to look forward to new Season just need three quality signings over the line

I think that might be the petrofac cup.
