We won't both be away in first leg, if we were to qualify.

Guessing one of the ties may be moved.

That shocking decision last night might cost us big time. This would have been an incredible tie at Easter Road.

We should have been looking to create more than 1 clear cut chance at home to be honest.

That's not stopping me researching flight prices to Berlin right enough, just in case..............

Brondby away will be difficult and despite them looking average I feel we would will struggle to get through now. Had we got a draw I think we would have an excellent chance. What a draw that would be.

Going by Twitter I don't think the game would be played at the Olympic stadium, but rather somewhere called Friedrich Ludwig Jahn Sportpark.

The Sportpark is really central but quite decrepit.

From wiki if this is any help.

Due to a lack of spectator interest, Hertha played their 2nd Bundesliga and Amateurliga matches from 1986 to 1989 in Poststadion (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poststadion). The opening fixtures of the 1992–93 season, as well as Intertoto Cup (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Intertoto_Cup), and UEFA Cup (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Cup) qualifying matches were played at the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark).

Agreed.

I went to see Liverpool playing Hertha there a few years ago, and although it was a large crowd, it was lost.

As a sidenote, on the bench for Hertha was one Rudolf Sk*c*l.

While that's true, it can't be much fun watching the game behind the goals in the other stadium (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/ad/Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark.jpg/1000px-Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark.jpg)either.

:agree: Used by BSC Dynamo Berlin who were the former Stasi club in the DDR. Paradoxically their fans now are considered to be extremely right wing and have a nasty reputation.

Not sure how old you are but Andreas Thom who played for Celtic and Hertha made his name playing for Dynamo. Think they won more championships than any other club during the DDR era.
