Ive spent the last four days taking in the games and the atmosphere of the Homeless World Cup Finals taking place in George Square, Glasgow.

If your looking for something different to entertain the kids during the school holidays then take them through this weekend to enjoy the excitement of the final play offs.

You may have seen some media footage on this football event that is bringing together 570 homeless people from 52 different countries in the world in celebration of being able to claim back their places in society.

The stands have been packed with spectators all week cheering on the teams doing battle on the 3 pitches covering George Square in its entirety. Its fast and exciting and really great fun to watch.

so if you are looking for something different for the kids take them along on Friday and Saturday to watch the final games and medal presentations. Its FREE and there are NO tickets needed.
