Think we will end up with around 10,500.

2nd highest in our history, a remarkable effort for a team spending its 3rd season outside the top division, even if we did win the cup. Well done to everybody who has bought a ST and obviously its great to see Suzy getting a mention for the great work she does.

The next target has to be to top 11,200 .... a long shot I would guess, but you never know, a big signing or a good result against Brondby might just tip the balance, what an incredible thing it would be to set a new record.

Amazing effort and just reward for 21 May.

Agreed, the team deserve it and its a good achievement still being in the second division.

That cup final win has made a huge difference to our morale and club finances as we'd have been lucky to sell 8k if we'd been beaten IMO. That was never going to happen though.

Is there a message there?

“With 10,000 now achieved, we aren’t going to rest on our laurels. This is our highest in ten years, and second highest in our history, second only to 2007/08 when the club managed to reach a total of around 11,200 for the start of that season. Can we reach that level? It will be a stretch but we want to be ambitious here to match the fans’ expectations and to do that we need a big support behind us every week. I’d urge all fans who have already signed up to rally their friends and families and bring them with us for year ahead.”

All things being considered, it's amazing to get that level of support whilst in the Championship for our third season in a row.

Incredible effort my hibees family. Role on next Thursday.

As a side note, I'm really beginning to think that dempster is the best thing to happen to hibs in a generation. I doubt any of this would have been possible without her appointment. What a woman! !

Decent achievement - well done all. I suspect 11,201 might be beyond us, but you never know. There's a buzz about the club now, and there might just be a late rush.

It just shows you the importance of being successful, we won the Scottish Cup and we've captured the imagination of thosuands of fans, if we can back that up this year with winning the Championship then I'd expect a further spike in STs, this could be the beginning of a great era for Hibernian, I'm really looking forward to the ride, bumps n all

Looks like 500 still to renew going by those figures.

7500 last year with 3000 new or lapsed this year.

I hope they keep the updates on numbers going though, would've great to get the final amount of ST sold before first league game

For a third season in this league that is fantastic that the fans have gone and bought them.

Well done to all who's bought one. 👍🏼

What is the obsession with marquee signings? They aren't needed to get out of this league and they shouldn't be needed to get people to support this fantastic club.

We need a winger, maybe 2 and a keeper if Oxley leaves. Maybe a midfielder but I'd be happy to give Sam a chance.

Brilliant news! Well done to everyone who renewed, to those who are first time buyers and to those coming back after a few years away.

Whether or not we reach over 11,000 this season - That is a great effort. If we can win the championship this season there is no reason why we can't improve on this number again this time next year.

The laddie and I have yet to actually make the purchase so another 2, based on the contributions here and analysis of the figures (still 500 existing ST's to renew), surely we will get past the 10,500 mark as a minimum.

Fantastic figures, considering the circumstances.

To have easily the fifth highest amount of season ticket holders in the country, as a Championship club, is outstanding.

Not fussed about marquee signings to be honest, just players who can get us up even if they are short term signings.

Are we not 4th highest? Last I read Aberdeen were struggling big time to shift tickets and were way down on last season.

Yes. I think Celtic are approx 43,000, sevco 36,000, yams 13,500

Absolutely brilliant, what a club. Cummings on a 4 year deal, re-sign Hendo for a year and 2 big signings could genuinely see us hit our record. What is even more encouraging is that, assuming we are promoted this season, at least 90% of those ST's will be renewed plus all the rest coming back for the SPFL. Brilliant stuff.
