Not an ITK gadgie but I wouldn't be surprised if a physio comes in from Sellick. No info, just a wee hunch about someone...which may or may not turn out to be absolute guff:wink:

Hope so and good luck. Would hate to think she was ousted just so Lennon could bring in his own physio. But, that's fitba fur ye.

She announced she was leaving hibs about 2 weeks on her twitter. Pretty late announcement. Seemed a decent physio and we didnt have many injuries while she was here and if we did they got dealt with well

It was nice to watch her sing SOL with gusto at the end of the cup final ... shows what real spirit there was in the whole camp, something I hope we can maintain as players and staff come and go.

Good luck in the future Kitty :aok:

Like most I too will miss Kitty and wish her well.

I can only assume that she is collateral damage with the management changeover.

Having said that...and this is not aimed at Kitty, but on to the broader issue of our 'medical staff'...this has been an area I have long had concerns about....probably out of ignorance of the process I admit.

But we have had unfit players sitting on the bench, and we even signed one - Eckersley - that after six months his injuries still had not improved sufficiently for him to finish a game for us.

Does anyone know what kind of medical assessment, if any, our players go through before we sign their contract, and who is involved in the process?

My mother in law treats sports injuries and Hibs should hire her as a replacement. One glance at that brute would keep every one of our players out of the injury room unless they possessed the heart and bravery of Wallace himself.........

All very professional rhetoric used by both sides, but reading between the lines one cannot do other than form the opinion that she was pushed, rather than jumped.

Well yeh ...... But I prefer to look at it as Hibs showing that when it comes to the non playing staff* at the club we will employ who we think is best for the job and no other factors like sex or sexuality for that matter will be a barrier. Having women in important positions like physio and CEO make for a good connection with the clubs female fans ... of which there are many if what you see at cup finals is anything to go by.

* Actually, considering some of the keepers we have had we should have asked Hope Solo if she fancied a trial :greengrin

Quite right.I remember John Cumming pushed the big centre half Gallagher back on at Tynecastle having failed to notice that he'd broken his leg.As he fell down again the other team(motherwell I think)went through and scored the winner.

Who's the gadgie from out Wishaw way that was a Celtic a few years ago? I think he was at Dundee up till last year? He might be on Lennons bucket list. Players rave about him. Foreign sounding name. My minds gone blank.
