Hello everybody

my name is Luca and I'm a hibs fan from Switzerland. I became a fan in 2011when I was doing a language stay for 4 weeks. Since then I visited Edinburgh another 3 times. I really love this city.

At the moment I'm thinking about visiting Edinburgh again this autumn. On the scotprem website I saw that the football games will all take place at 15:00 this season. Is this right or just like a draft plan? I'm asking because of course I would like to see a hibs game when I'm around.

I also would like to ask you about some new things for me to visit and do in Edinburgh. Maybe you know some non touristic hidden gems or something.

I'm sorry for my rusty and bumpy english, I'm a bit out of exercise.

Thank you and cheers
Luca

LucaWelcome, if you like a bit of exercise then get yourself up Arthurs Seat, spectacular scenery and views of our stunning city, with an added bonus of seeing Easter Rd stadium from various vantage points. Leith has a fantastic history, particularly the dock area. Plenty establishments where you can have a meal and drink. Further afield is Portobello and the beach, a nice long promenade in which to stretch your legs.

Im sure what ever you chose to do you will enjoy our beautiful city.

Ps- Avoid Tyncastle, it stinks 😄👍

Even if you can't make a game there are stadium tours every Friday. If that doesn't suit then contact the club as they are usually very accomodating of those travelling from outside Scotland.

With regards to other things to do; Glenkinchie distillery isn't far from Edinburgh and is just about on a public transport route, Gilmerton Cove is one of Edinburghs hidden gems and you could see something most visitors and a lot of natives don't even know exists. The National Museuem has some fantastic new exhibitions opening this month and it's worth a visit anyway tbh, I went to the Building sights exhibition at the Portrait Gallery recently and it's a great showcase of modern Scottish architecture - it runs until September. For a different view of Edinburgh from Arthurs Seat try a jaunt up either the Braid or Blackford Hills or walk the Capital View Walk in the Pentlands.
