There were rumours of a Hibs fan take over of The Dubliner......

That sounds about right. All the way to Denmark to sit in a fake Irish pub.

Anywhere other than an Irish theme pub.

Dubliner will be the Wednesday.
Think the plan is to take over a park with a carry out on game day

The OP was asking where folk are going. There is talk of an organised Hibs party in The Dubliner so I'm guessing that's where many will go, I was just passing it on. You go where you want. Normally I'm with you on the Irish pub thing but it's actually a very good boozer and from my experience, when you're on a midweek trip, the good Irish bars are often a safe starting point as they're usually busy with bands on etc.

Think theres a large roof terrace too, which if it's sunny will be brilliant

This was one of my favourite bars when I first visited Copenhagen in 2007.....

Spot on! The Dubliner run by a hibby and also popular with locals. A few hibbys went there the night before the Malmo game too!

So five of us definitely heading there after a cheeky wee visit to Christiana!! 😀

Just googled those places after your post. Ta for heads up, they look decent. Probably give them a visit. Dubliner roof terrace sounds pretty good too mind, if the sun has got his hat on. As does a park with a carry oot. As you can tell I'm amenable to options as long as it involves being in Copenhagen when Hibs are in town.

Your avatar btw. Great record.

Dubliner with a big square just seconds from it too. Seems to be the place for many.

Am liking the roof terrace idea - would be good if there was a wee Rose Street type lane of pubs that we could take over like the AEK Athens 2001 trips

"Football tripper" website says that the stadium is 12km from the city centre and the nearest train stations on the "B line" are 35 minutes walk - looks like the taxi drivers are going to be busy next Thursday

I think u are right, but I know that on matchdays Brondby put on shuttle buses from glostrup station to the ground, hopefully this is the case next Thursday if not it is a 20min walk or if your rich a taxi is the quickest option

I'm travelling on my own, so if any small groups want to meet up and share the cost of a taxi, give me a PM.

When do tickets go on sale for the away leg? Couldn't see any mention on the Hibs announcement or on the ticket site.

I checked with Brondby, there are no shuttle buses running from the S train stations on 21St.

How to get to Brøndby Stadium
The stadium is a 30 minute journey from Copenhagen central station. The easiest way to get there is to catch a Line B train to Glostrup or a Line A train to Brøndby Strand Station and then catch bus either 131 or 500S. Extra buses run on a matchday.

Glostrup is just under 2 miles to the stadium, Brondby Strand is sightly over 2 miles. For those who are able then it's not that far a walk really if it comes to it. Might be a good laugh if there's a crowd all heading up together.

Last train back into Copenhagnen Central from Glostrup is 23:50 by the looks of it.

Im with you on that one if there are a bunch of us going to the stadium at the same time it should be a good laugh, even maybe walk with a few of the locals, whether looks promising also with 21degrees for much of Thursday

I know walking for a good 30mins isn't for everyone especially the older supporter but I would certainly do it

Remember in Malmo we were escorted to the ground from Lila Tork by the local police

We're staying in the Scandic Glostrup hotel. About 1.8 miles from the stadium.

You know your way around :) Not the cheap options, but those are very good places. Mikkeller is one of the best breweries I've ever tried.

I work in beer so go to Copenhagen every may for CBC - couldn't believe my luck when we got drawn out there, one of the best beer cities in the world!

It looks like you can purchase a 1 day City Pass for 80 DKK - See: http://www.visitcopenhagen.com/copenhagen/iframe-movia

It covers you for all public transport and if we've to catch trains and buses this looks like decent value.

The ticket can also be purchased at Copenhagen Airport for us Luddites who don't have a smartphone.

Yeah, craft beer is huge in Denmark and have been for 10 years or so. I think I read an article some time ago that Denmark has one of the highest brewery/capita ratios in the world. A lot of bars specializing in craft beers have opened in the last few years and are quite popular. Among them are the ones you have singled out.

I'm sure that's correct. I was hoping to go for dinner at BRUS but unfortunately they're on their one week summer break when I'm there! At least there's plenty of choice in Copenhagen when it comes to beer and food places.

Looks like a great idea, although from the map it looks like the zone does not stretch as far as Glostrup, which is the closest stop to the brondby stadium.
