They must have done it with gloves on , cause I've never heard them before .
Pretty impressive when the Icelandics do it tho .

Aye, the Mrs drew Iceland in her works sweep so suddenly she's in to football. Against England she commented on the chant and said it sounded impressive/intimidating,,,we've been doing that for ages I said but she didn't believe me!

Motherwell got it from an Icelandic team they played in Europe. Apparently.
The suggestion is the other way around - that the Icelandic team, Starjnan, got it from Well.
I've never heard them do it but might be less noticeable with 60 folk rather than 16,000.

Motherwell's young team who sit/stand in the corner near the away end have done that for a while now. As someone else said it's not so impressive when it's done by 50 or 60 kids.
