I don't think I could be less worried by Dunfermline. They'll be nowhere near us.

The pars are coming to get us. It's like Man city being worried about Leicester because they hammered watford in a freindly.

Not really the same seeing as they just won the premier league

Friendly results mean nothing.

What happened to the young Moroccan (?) guy everyone was raving about last season.

Livingston are now in League One. The fact that Dunfermline beat them in a friendly means nothing.

Think the pars will finish 4th or 5th which would be a decent return. Consolidate in their first season back in this division

Dunfermilne will be a decent side next season.

However if we perform as I expect Hibs to perform they won't be near us. They could actually help us by taking points from Dundee Utd, St Mirren and Falkirk.

There was nothing sarcastic about the post at all but ok if you say so

If I've got my calculations right, winning every game next season will mean us beating the Pars each time we play them, so I'm not too worried about them. :greengrin

Think the real worry here is that Livingston are now dead as a club, what a shame.

Yeah I hope they can come back and get on track but have a feeling they won't

:agree: There's a real feel good factor about Dunfermline this year, I fully expect them to be challenging for the playoffs.

Pars could be decent next season, but we should be winning the league by miles. Lennon knows that promotion is the only acceptable outcome, with no Hearts or Rangers as competition.

I like Dunfermline as a club and a town.

I predict we will win the league comfortably and Pars to go up with us via the playoffs.

I don't.
Think Dunfermline will start the season well, but as the months pass, lack of squad depth will tell and they will fall away. Fully expect them to finish mid-table. As for challenging us ? - Nah. Bridge too far for them at this moment in time.

The best anyone else in our league can hope for is second..

Wonder how they will get on without that French/Moroccan lad that scored a barrel load of goals for them last season. His contract has expired and it doesn't look as if he'll be staying there next season.

It's good to be confident. But we shouldn't get too ahead of ourselves. Dunfermline are a well rounded side and play some really decent football. I can see Dunfermline and Falkirk pushing us hard next season. Lets not assume that they're just going to roll over for us.

Indeed but thankfully, I don't think Lennon would allow that to happen and will keep the team on their toes

I immediately think of Falkirk last season.
Many of us thought they would fall fall away for the same reasons and we all know what happened.
I personally see a real dog fight ahead with not just the Pars but Dundee United, Falkirk and Raith Rovers.
I am keeping my feet on the ground and remain open-minded about the challenges ahead.
I also remain hopeful that Neil Lennon will have instilled that ruthless streak in us which we lacked on too many occasions during our last league campaign.
