He has the perfect two syllable name for the "on fire" song a la Will Grigg.

How about something to elo's hold on tight?

Holt's on fire for the greens
Holt's on fire for the greens
Give him the ball - see him score
1 or 2, maybe more
Holt's on fire for the greens.

I never claimed to be any good at this........

ELO....shoot me now FFS!!

:agree:

I can only imagine how tedious it will get after a week in Magaluf listening to a bunch of non-football fans singing it.

I'm afraid your call for restraint is likely to fall on deaf ears, he'll be straight into most people's "strongest Hibs XI" immediately :greengrin

It's fast becoming the Toure song.

Great fun for a while but loses that fun when drunken 'lads' take it too far.

Nowt wrong with a bit of ELO and it's a bit different and as Hibees we are always pushing the barrier a wee bit further.

He was a good striker in his time, but he's 35 years old and since he left Norwich he's scored 8 in around 60 games for 5 different teams.

And 8 in 34 in his last season at Carrow Road.

Hate to rain on the parade, guys, but this does not fill me with the anticipation of good things ....

Funny the chants that seem to have just vanished.
Mind in the eighties everyone used to sing"here we go here we go here we go" . And "i'd walk a million miles for one of your goals oh hibees" songs come and go i guess.

Nothing can top 'the mighty Quinn' from the 70's. Right song, right man, at the right time :greengrin

The 1960's. Pat left us in Bob Shankly's time, at the end of season 1968-69.

Good song, though.
