He's corresponded with multiple pundits, been retweeted by the club's official page and posted exclusive pictures of himself at the Euros and at training with Hibs. Not sure what else can be done to convince you. :greengrin

I have to admit that I find it a little bit strange to have our manager on Twitter and I was very skeptical at first too.

Neil Lennon on Twitter - update:

Today is his birthday

He's mentally formed a 'five' a side team with Jamie Redknapp, Victor Wanyama and Scott Brown

Being in Paris again with Crisp Man and the Guy Who Booted Him in the Head is celebration enough

He's told a Celtic fan that they aren't allowed to sign John McGinn

Under those circumstances I'd be counting the number of fingers on the hand used to lift his pint.

And I'd be making sure he went nowhere near the kids standing outside drinking orange juice and eating crisps, patiently waiting for their Dad to emerge from the pub.

Dundee United have about 10 players, and at the moment dont look like a team to worry about. They still have a long way to go before the season starts. Lennon is a in a great position with the Hibs team where he can to an extent take his time and hopefully get those few players 9that will be the difference for us this season.

Id also find it hard to believe it isnt Lennon's twitter account given that the Hibs account follows and retweets him, hes always posting pictures only he would have (such as selfies), and alot of ex-players and media guys interact with him.

Failkirk are going to be our lambs to the slaughter next season. Not even if their whole team all become goalkeepers and use their hands in the box to try and stop us. Very few teams will take points from us i guarantee it.

This time next year we will be a Premier Club again mark my words. Not even Craig Jambo Thompson could stop us. I was very confident of winning the Cup prior to the Final and I am very confident of winning the League by a fair margin with Lenny in charge.

I certainly did. He scored 5 goals in 20 plus league games.

He did very well in the big cup games but in the league, he hardly ripped up any trees.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be forever grateful for his goals in Inverness & the Cup Final, be he's no big loss in the league.

Erm, he started 13 league games and made 1 sub appearance, scoring 5. Then 4 goals in 7 cup games. So 9 in 20 starts. And while he was not great to start with, the last 6 weeks he was consistently one of our best performers Played differently than the first time he was with us, was more of a creator than a finisher.

My bag. I'm counting the play off games. 19 league games (including the playoffs). So 5 in 19.

He played 27 in total. 2 games for Celtic, 6 cup games.

Lennon got into a wee argument with a Celtic fan who got annoyed at him saying Wales were good or something. Was quite an amusing exchange.

His tweets today are from Dublin. Hopefully he is there to sign someone returning from the euros.

he was doing work for Irish TV with the Spain Italy match which probably explains why he was in Dublin, never know though!

Stokes was good, but he could hardly be expected to do the work of tree fellers

Stokes was actually good in every game bar a few. His hold up play and pulling CB apart helped a lot. Wasn't just about goals!

Some folk need to actually watch the game rather than just pick stats out to suit their argument! 😉

Agree with this. One game in particular I noticed him doing this was in the league cup final. He was our best player that day and yet when I came on here all I seen was dogs abuse for the guy.

Totally agree.

There were a lot of mitigating factors for him too.

He arrived half fit and played against packed defences that weren't interested in playing football.

We were struggling a bit for form by the time he got into his stride and I don't think Stubbs really knew how to fit him into our team.

In spite of that he knocked his pan in, tailored his game and did lots of closing down, dropping deep and all sorts, possibly to the detriment of the scoring record that people are now beating him with.

Stokes was our best player in many of our games throughout the past couple of months of the season.

When we finally played in the kind of game that suits him (the cup final) he was on fire.

Agree- his performance in the LC was top class and I was stunned to see the stick some were giving him on here.

Would hope the club wouldn't censor an employee like that. Doubt it as well. Probably a personal choice.

Just about every tweet he makes he has a pile of Celtic fans spraffing nonsense. Id imagine he's realised that he could do without getting dragged into that and his current fans having to see the constant Celtic references.

Going into new season I think it's a good choice, get on with the job at Hibs.

Most likely a personal choice. I quite liked having our manager on Twitter as well, even if it was often cringey as **** as he posted like any usual middle aged man on social media.

Chances are Lennon Gallagher is named after another Lennon. Perhaps Neil got the wrong idea and no one had the heart to tell him. :greengrin

Liam's son is named after his idol JOhn lennon...

I wish he would do less tweeting and more signing - Dundee Utd seem busy: http://m.bbc.com/sport/football/36628571

Let's get Dundee United to do more tweeting in order to sabotage their season.
