Forster is out of contract.

He's at pre season training though so might be as well leaving him in there.

Still a fairly big squad when you consider most reckon we need 4 or 5. I'd let go of Stanton, Harris, Handling, possibly Carmichael if it was to mean getting another 5 or 6 bodies in and I'd put Martin and Insall out on loan to a championship team until Xmas if possible. Would leave us with 15, I would say 5 signings of real quality and then go with the likes of shaw, crane etc to add to the 20. Signings such as Rogers, Leahy (Falkirk left back, not sure I've spelt it right) Henderson, Commons and McDonald would see us up I'd say. Maybe a big unit of a forward aswell.

Squad is still very strong, just needs a few additions in wide areas etc. And we'll have a good team on our hands😁

Also reckon another striker or two is needed, only Cummings/keatings are proven goalscorers at this level. Bring in McDonald and a Farid type striker and we should be good👍🏻

i reckon Carmichael is going to have a huge season for us and emerge as the next Hibernian superstar. Just a gut feeling.

If forster has signed defence looks ok. Still an argument for another left back to cover lewis.
Think we need a natural left forward and a big striker as we're a big lightweight.

New keeper maybe depending on how Lennon views Ox and Conrad, though Lennon talking up McGovern as i type this!

Fullback cover, width and two strikers, and maybe Henderson back if that is possible!

Not sure if by left forward you mean a winger but the only two forwards we have are left footed

Think an addition of another good forward like McDonald is essential

Logan was only a short deal, he's not here to be judged

Someone needs to update Logan's wiki pages. Says he's still at Hibs and doesn't mention that he won the Scottish Cup.

Conrad Joseph Logan (born 18 April 1986) is an Irish football goalkeeper (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/Goalkeeper_(association_football)), who currently plays for Hibernian (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/Hibernian_F.C.) in the Scottish Championship (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/Scottish_Championship). He was educated at Saint Eunan's College (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/Saint_Eunan%27s_College) in Letterkenny (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/Letterkenny), County Donegal (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/County_Donegal), and is a former Irish youth international.
Logan joined the Leicester City (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/Leicester_City_F.C.) academy (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/Leicester_City_F.C._Reserves_and_Academy) in 2001,[3] (http://www.hibs.net/#cite_note-Conrad_Logan_player_profile-3) making his professional debut in 2005. He largely served Leicester as a backup goalkeeper, playing for several other clubs on loan. During a loan spell at Stockport County (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/Stockport_County_F.C.),[4] (http://www.hibs.net/#cite_note-Conrad_Logan-4) Logan helped the club win the 2008 Football League Two play-off Final (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/2008_Football_League_Two_play-off_Final).[5] (http://www.hibs.net/#cite_note-Fletcher-5) Logan became Leicester's longest serving player, until he was released from his contract in 2015.[6] (http://www.hibs.net/#cite_note-Logan_Signs_New_Two-Year_Deal-6)
After spending over a year out of the game, mainly due to injury, Logan signed for Scottish club Hibernian (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/Hibernian_F.C.) in March 2016. In his debut appearance for the club he made two saves in a penalty shootout (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/Penalty_shootout_(association_football)), which earned them a place in the 2016 Scottish Cup Final (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/2016_Scottish_Cup_Final).

Forster re-signing doesn't add any strength to the squad IMO. It may add depth but he's nowhere near as good as the current centre halves, including Gunnarson. IMO he'd just be making up the numbers so I'd prefer we didn't renew his contract.

Realise that won't be a popular opinion.

Forster is a great prospect. At least for our level. Only injuries have held him back. Fast, athletic, decent on the ball, aerial threat. Only injuries have held him back.
