Am I right to say that our game with edinburgh thistle is restricted capacity? If so there will be an awful lot of disappointed fans!

Trades fortnight should be enough to go round.

Capacity of 7000+. Edinburgh City have about 150-200 regulars. Even allowing for location and it being Lennons 1st game there should be enough to go around.

Can't all the extra bods not just stand on the field ..... if they promise to stay in the Hibs end? :angelic:

All for the want of some woodpaintstuff. Does what it says on the tin.

If you're on the pitch (and no that's not an invite:greengrin)looking at the stand, section B is at the Abbeyhill end of the stand. Section A will be the extreme right hand section.

Sections E & F are on the other side of centre an more toward the Sports Centre on the left

Section C & D are the middle sections of the stand.

I was in Section A last weekend for the Elton John concert. Great view. In fact I'd say anywhere in the stand will give a decent view tbh.

Is it not possible to buy a gym pass and hog the tread mill for the duration?

Any catering facilities in the stand

I was at the Edinburgh City v Cove Rangers play off match last season and there was 1 catering kiosk open. It sold mince pies & steak pies, which I think were supplied by Stories bakers in Leith and the usual selection of hot & cold drinks.

I usually park in Easter Road for home games but from there to Meadowbank is a bit of a stretch for these old legs. Anyway, thanks for all the helpful advice - I may have to look for a forum where the Hibs supporters actually look out for each other rather than go for cheap shots.

Medowbank retail park or round towards The Queens Park.

Try Lochend Road, Drive, Gardens etc.

Round the other side of the stadium from the stand but not a long walk. That's where my Mum parks for ER and it's probably closer to Meadowbank than ER. Handy if you fancu a pint in the old Loch Inn or The Hoppy although if you're driving that's probably not relevant.

Cheers - I read somewhere that the free parking there is limited and most of these retail parks have changed from 2 hrs max to 1 1/2 hrs max. I'll look them up and if it's 2 hrs that should be fine. Thanks to all responders. My faith is restored.

Ive parked there loads for games at ER, plus its not a council car park so no issue even if you get a "parking ticket"

Anywhere along London Road right outside the stadium after 6.30pm as its a single yellow from abbeyhill to Jocks Lodge.

Doubt it very much that they will have cones out, they might though.

No confirmation of this yet, at least I've not seen anything on the fishy site.

For the City game? Its ticket only. They couldn't have been any clearer.

Not been keeping abreast of things in the same manner of during season, so have not noted this. I'm in Peebles so will wait till tomorrow to see if there are any changes to that and provisions made to accept walk ups. Not the end of the world if not.

I didn't realise that - thanks for the heads up. There's parking round the back of mcdonalds and the washing garage too I think or even Marionville.

Yes im aware of that. What I meant was that there was no confirmation that there would be a pay at the gate for any unsold tickets.
