I hear it is a 1 year rolling contract. Probably big bonus if promoted!

I'd imagine £200k for the season + bonus

At Easter Road we play...

How about none of your / our business?

There were rumours at the time that Williamson's initial contract was ~£250k pa. There have also been claims that Lennon will be the highest paid manager/head coach in the club's history.

Butcher was highest paid since Alex McLeish - I think you'll be in the right ballpark with that estimate

That's a bit harsh. I'm only speculating because I want to know how much we have to spend on players to further improve the team.

Okay sunshine?

Ask the "in the know" brigade from Hibs.net. That will narrow it down to around a dozen possibilities all of which will be correct. Allegedly.

He won't be on minimum wage, though of course he doesn't need the money. He won't be here for the cash.

£200k to £250k a year plus bonuses i would guess.

So do you know what the budget was prior to appointing NL? If you don't know that then the salary info means nothing.

What about Sauzee?

He was paid as for his player contract which I assume was for more than the sums mentioned.

No idea was reported on the BBC tonight that he would be the highest paid Hibs manager ever. No idea if that's true either maybe a guess by the Beeb.

He was registered as a player too - I'm talking managers salary alone mate.

An ex manager contact told me Butcher's alleged salary and it made me sick ! I would imagine we were still paying him until perhaps last season but those closer in the know would confirm - and I've absolutely no reason to doubt the source as he played under Eck too !

I think it'll be more closer to £300k p.a

There is no way a company that has revenues of circa 5.5m, can afford to spend 300k on a manager....

Agreed. Smaller basic plus a big bonus for promotion (more for automatic?). Then for next season a bigger basic. All in all a big package if he delivers.

Meanwhile Rod Petrie was unavailable for comment as he was in office rocking back and forth in fetal position with the lights out.

250k per year? 20k a month, 5k a week?! I'd have thought maybe pushing it to 3.5-4K per week. Pure guess work on my part though. You read about what kind of money people think the players are on etc all the time on here, but does any really know? Proberly not.

Worth every penny if we kick off in the SPL in season 2017

According to AgentScotland on Twitter, it's £2k per week with a £25k promotion bonus. No idea how good his info is on this but he was pretty much right on everything else Lenny related this week.

Worth every penny if we kick off in the SPL in season 2017Considering the vastly bigger prize pots in the Premier League compared with Championship it will be money well spent if he gets us promoted, and that is all that matters to me.

Once above 100 and especially 150k the tax implications of salary / bonus / pension etc get complicated. For the recipient the net amounts the issue. Good chance that any deal will be complex and not easily reducible to x per week / year. Can't remember who now but a few years back there was a well known player who was widely reported to make his salary demands 'net' and leave his employers to sort out the rest
