Any examples of songs ruined by fans? Huns are the worst example for me. Simply the best by Tina turner. *******ised and butchered by Huns. Heard penny arcade by Roy Orbison at work the other day, pleasant and catchy song..... Butchered by Huns. Any other examples just out of morbid curiosity

When a (usually massively inebriated middle aged bloke) sings the line "I can't help falling in love with you"

I can't help but feel a little piece of the Elvis legacy slips away...

Rod Stewarts "We are Sailing" sung by us in the 70s. Lattery "come on feel the noise" by Slade.

"Do you want to be in my gang" by Garry Glitter also sung by us in the 70s

Marching Through Georgia.

(Though only a tiny minority butcher it.)

Celtic fans ruined Depeche Mode for me. Always have to skip that damn song on the album! :grr:

Annoyingly it works brilliantly as a terrace song.

does anyone know why they sing Penny Arcade.

their attempt to sing it at the Cup Final was pathetic

Always liked the song but whenever it's played at weddings etc you just know the floor is going to be swamped by part time hun supporters

I think its the "roll up and spend your last dime" lyric, I'm sure they adopted it around about 2009ish when the brown stuff was beginning to hit the fan and their spending was heavily curtailed

Winter Wonderland - I've never heard a terracing choir reach the top note.

Cheer up ... - it depends on the name. Craig Levein worked great. Jim Jeffries just didn't fit.

Just Can't Get Enough, bar none. One of my favourite pop songs now a Celtic "anthem". Harrowing.

Was the line "To a fat jambo ba*tard" which worked perfectly for JJ different in the Potter version?

Sunshine on leith.

Can't listen to it now without thinking about us at hampden and Easter road under the floodlights after putting hearts out of the Scottish cup and getting a wee bit emotional about it all.

There was a rumour it was to do with the murder of a Catholoc man at tha hands of Loyalist paramilitaries in Norther Ireland but I think that was proven to be nonsense.

Not a huge thing but something I did notice is a lot of Hibs fans seem to think the last line is thanking the chief for "your worth" as opposed to Birth. It certainly doesn't ruin any songs for me but just something I noticed over cup final weekend :agree:

Liverpools version of Fields of Athenry for me is brutal. Love the original and should be left as is.

Just about any song the huns decided to sing. Unless theres at very least 1 or 2 lines relating to FTP, killing fenians etc etc then it just not worth singing for them.
