Do we keep Alan Stubbs name in the John McGinn song or put the new managers name in, I am for keeping Stubbs in, or do we come up with a new song

Can't sing 'he's Alan Stubbs' man' when he's not, just need to hope the new managers name fits

First and second name need two syllables, so only Malky MacKay would do it. I am not that desperate to save the song.......

An alternative that I thought of is, to the tune of give it up by KC and the sunshine band,
"Super John mcginn, John mcginn
Suuuper John mcginn
Nananananananana"

Oh, and I take it that we are still agreed that he is actually really better than Zidane? He was actually quite good at football, although I suppose he is getting on a bit now.

"He's our former coach's man....."

Accurate but not over-affectionate so as to spare Mr Lennon's feelings. He's easily hurt.

If all else fails, we could always revert back to the usual chant that football fans sing;

"There's only one John McGinn, one John McGinn, there's only one John McGinn...."

Nothing that involves calling someone "Neily" can ever be described as better than anything else.

I like this but it's not very child friendly. My son randomly just starts singing this,so it has to be he's the hibees favourite man. I can't have him Singing offensive songs at nursery, supermarkets, swimming, mass, his great grandma house. It would be frowned upon.

I'm not so sure... there aren't many things funnier in the world than a young kid swearing without knowing what they're saying.

Not sure that the 'Neily Lennon's Green & White Army' chant would be appropriate?
They might think it's about another unmentionable team with the same colours!

How about adapting that Ellie Goulding song - 'Standing with an army' as a chant?
'When I'm with Hibs - I'm standing with the Green Army' or some such?

I'm sure there are some songsmiths out there that could do something with that?
Ant takers?
