He's Alan Stubbs's man........oh wait!!

Message for the OP - don't think he's playing. He's got an injury. He had Haliday and Holt in his back pocket and now has a hip injury!!!

On premier sports again. Worst sports channel ever.

I've not seen any news about injury or pulling out of the squad and it kicks off at 8.

Still can't believe the awful players that still get games for Scotland.

Gordon Greer is it? Maloney? Fletcher in midfield?

Young players in Scotland need to get thrown in much sooner. Sink or swim early on other countries do it so why are we different?

Lets hope he does not get on.

Strachan said before the game he wouldn't play as he's too young and no point in throwing him in against a team of champions league players, in case it dents his confidence (or something along those lines)

He could've told the laddie that 2 weeks ago, after playing over 50 games this season and his pre season starting in the next two weeks. He could have told him to go and get himself a holiday before a massive season coming up, in which he may well be needed by strachan for the qualifiers!

Would've liked him to get on but even being there will have been a brand new experience for him.

So hopefully his shorter holiday will still be enough to recharge the batteries!

Of course he is going to be delighted, just as he was when he was playing for Hibs while knackered at the end of the season, he is young so will want to play every game, however, sometimes the experienced managers need to take the decision out of their hands and tell them it is best for them to miss out and get fitness back. Being told he picked up a groin strain last week but decided to stay with the squad, possibly resulted by him playing so much since the turn of the year.
