John Doolan Managerial Offer?

Listened to this interview with Stubbs posted in another thread - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03x1c55

Around 11.45 the interviewer notes Doolan had the chance to stay at hibs and become manager. Anyone hear that was an option?

Seems strange A) because I'd never heard it mentioned and B) quite a big decision to turn that offer down so quickly

Mentions stay with possibility of being manager. Whether it was offer to apply for job or direct offer of job is unclear.

He says there was "a chance". Of course there was as, had he stayed, he would have been in a good position to apply.

Seriously doubt an offer was made though.
