Good statement seems everything happened on good and proper professional terms. Cheers for the cup Stubbsy now let's move on.

Doolan has gone - assume Taff also.

Would have been decent of the club to thank them also.

Cheers Alan et al. Onwards we go, in a very good position to move forward.

They are thanked, if you read the statement it says Alan Stubbs and his staff!

Great communications.

Short, sharp and ending a good relationship without any tears.

Well Done Hibs.

Alan probably, kitty defo as she would be club staff. Alan will be taking "his" staff I.e the training staff

Good. Job done, doesn't fuel any fanciful flames of gossip and gives Stubbs the right degree of congratulations for the historic and incredible victory he delivered for us.

Onwards and, more importantly, ****ing upwards.

I am happy for him and all of us that he won the Scottish Cup so everything ends on a high note - a very high note indeed.

Whoever comes in is inheriting a far better situation than Stubbs did.

Good luck Alan, time for us to move forward and get the big job done.

Thanks Alan, you gave me the best day of my life. You leave the club in a far better position than when you arrived.

Great squad at our disposal. Looking forward to the next manager being named.

Number one priority is winning the championship next year.

I think Doolan and Taff deserve a mention by name - staff to me is very informal.

Think of what they have both done and all they get is a thanks to staff also.

Petty maybe but surely couldn't have been that hard to do.

Doolan is away with Stubbs, however I understand Taff isn't.

Stubbsy: 'I'm the best appointment this club has made for years.'

Leeann: 'Aye right! I am.'

Leanne is pure class for me. She's the best thing to happen to our club in a long time. Hope she's not getting itchy feet!!!!!!

Leeann is a Hibernian legend just as much as anyone at the club.Doubt the Scottish cup would be here if she wasnt here.

Interesting. A bit of continuity perhaps? Or did Rotherham only allow Stubbs one assistant, and he took his best mate rather than his No 2?

"this Club will go about its business quietly and professionally and speak when there is something meaningful to say.” just like Rotherham did

I liked that bit. Very classy - unlike other clubs....

No sure. A player phoned Taff yesterday (he is in France) and he said he was not away to Rotherham and is currently without a position.

Think you're probably right, although I knew a boy who was the physio at Burnley when Owen Coyle was manager there, and Coyle took him to Bolton with him when he moved.

How a statement should be done.
Waited till the loose ends tied up and then issue a dignified, factual, succinct statement.......and move on to the job in hand, find a new manager.

The polar opposite of the knee jerk pander to the masses garbage from Rangers, or the fishwife gossip/incomplete garbage issued by The DR.

Sorry to see him go, but I hope it goes well for him at Rotherham. He delivered the elusive yin.
