In Saturday's Evening News there is a poster of Hibs cup winning team from a picture taken before kick off ... there are inserts for Gunnarsson, Henderson Keatings and Stubbs. If Hibs ever put up a picture inside Easter Road to commemorate winning the cup IMO it should include everybody who kicked a ball in our cup run.
Oxley, Bartley, Malonga, Dagnall, Boyle, Thomson, Carmichael, El Alagui and Virtanen all played a part ... not to mention John Doolan.
You don't win anything these days with 11 players, you do it with a squad ... I especially feel for Bartley who was great in our cup run but didn't get on the pitch at Hampden. Look at Cummings, he didn't make much of a mark at Hampden and got subbed ... but his two goals against the Yams won the cup just as much as Stokes two on the day.
They are all legends in my eyes and any team picture they stick up in the corridors of ER to commemorate 2016 should have them all together ... even if they have to photoshop big Dom :greengrin
