The two pandas were in the row behind us and one of them was a moaning faced git at 2-1. I thought someone had stolen his bamboo.

Gordon Hunter and Steven Tweed were nearby too.

I've bumped into that Simon Pia look alike before too - and asked him if he was Simon. It clearly wasn't the first time he'd been asked! Funnily enough the same guy was in Aldi's at Gilmerton crossroads on Monday.

As I am only really interested in Hibs, I have never considered it before but do many other clubs (the bigot brothers excepted) have as many of their old players turn out to watch them at Cup Finals etc?

We have always had an extraordinary number of diehard Hibbies play for us. And a lot of others that may not have been born Hibbies, but certainly became so.

Kenny MacAskill in front of us. Never saw him queuing up at 5am for South Upper tickets. Pat Fenlon pinting away in Morningside. Sunday shook hands with Alex Cropley. My mate over from Atlanta bumped into McGinn Henderson and Gray on their way to the stadium. Got a great photo with all 3. He has only been to two games all season so it's a shambles from him.

He was with half a dozen of his mates on my bus, seen him outside the Persevere on saturday and my first reaction was to ask him what he was doing here as he was a St Johnstone fan, he had a Hibs scarf on and just smiled and said well he's a fan of both.
