Hey guys,

We were lucky enough to be able to record our Scottish Cup WINNERS Special podcast at Easter Road last night. As you can imagine, it's been our greatest ever episode IMO!

Get it at https://www.mondaynightfitba.com, or find it on iTunes:
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/monday-night-fitba/id930261805?mt=2

(Btw- we decided against speaking about the post-match controversy to focus solely on the game and celebrations. No need to let the sore losers' smear campaign set the tone for our show! We'll discuss the issue in depth next week, once the dust has settled a little).

We were also able to record an in depth interview with Hibs communications manager Colin Millar, who shared his recollections of the weekend. As he was deeply involved with all aspects of the match and celebrations, including being on the bus on Sunday, he gives a really interesting behind the scenes insight. Stay tuned- it should be available this evening.

Enjoy!! And let us know what you think!

I listened this morning and what a super listen it was. Just focusing on the game itself (nothing on the invasion/alleged incidents etc), what it means to Hibs fans and how it changes the capital rivalry banter stakes.

An excellent edition, really enjoyed it and full marks to Sam for being so upbeat about our victory.

Cheers for the positive words guys! As you can imagine, it was a real pleasure.

We also recorded an interview with Colin Millar, the club's Communications Manager. He was the first man at Hampden last Saturday morning, and was with the team all the way through the weekend, so has a unique insight into the celebrations. Also discusses the balance he manages to keep between being a fan and maintaining a professional approach, and discusses where the club goes from here. Colin's a great guy, and has been an integral part to a lot of the changes that have taken place behind the scenes at Easter Road over the last year, so I strongly recommend that everyone takes a listen!

Good stuff. Great to hear some chat about the football and nothing about the pitch invasion.

Sam seems a decent sort as well.

Enjoyed it. Good job doing this lads. I listen to them in San Francisco, still home in edin after the game this time.

Loved the chat about players listening in for tactical advice, may be big tell but not sure about AS :)

Keep it up. And agree Sam M does good job, seems not bad (for a Jambo..)

Another bump for our interview with Colin Millar at HFC. A fantastic 'behind the scenes' account of last weekend from the club's Communications Manager. The interview, plus our cup final retrospective, are perfect for anybody wanting to relive last Saturday's triumph!

Excellent podcast, agreed with all of it, particularly the "how did you feel in the last 2 mins after Grays header" piece.

All those emotions! Listened to it lying on the front lawn with my wife - almost greetin again!!

The interview with Colin Millar was very interesting. Gave a real insight of his matchday role (and one very special match in particular..) and certainly have a greater understanding of the communications aspect at Hibs.

As always, an excellent Podcast. I thoroughly enjoyed the Cup winning special and particularly enjoyed the fact that no reference was made to after match events (the pitch invasion). 10/10 to the Jambo - Sam for not using this as a chance to score a few cheap points,. Equally though 10/10 to you guys Craig/Connor for your honesty and 'calm' passion when discussing the day. Keep up the very good work.

Cheers for all the kind words! With most Scottish football podcasts winding down for Summer, we hope this is an episode folk can take their time to listen to whenever they want to relive that famous day in May over the next few months!

We recorded our long awaited Q&A episode earlier in the week, but it's been superceded by a hastily recorded reaction show after the unexpected managerial vacancy.

Check out Craig and Sam's discussion on iTunes and at mondaynightfitba.com

Cheers!
