Club and fans alike: from the bonkers statement released from the Govan Gulag to the countless threads on knuckledraggers.com. You'd think Hibs fans had behaved like their mob in Manchester; you know, the time where they blamed the police and Chelsea fans? Perhaps you'd be forgiven for thinking we'd behaved like their mob in Spain, when they were done by UEFA; or what about their riot in 1980 at Hampden? Oh aye, and their riot after winning the ECWC in 1972, which saw them banned from Europe. You'd even be forgiven for thinking that it was Hibs fans who were singing sectarian and pro-terrorist songs during the cup final.
Their high pitched screaming about a very small number of dafties who allegedly misbehaved after the final whistle last Saturday is somewhat surprising, as you'd think nothing could shock them in relation to inappropriate behaviour. Such is their desperation to lash out since liquidation, they even have the gall to try to take the moral high ground. However, whereas Hibs fans want any wrongdoers to face charges, their support is trying to raise £1690 (oh yes) to defend any Rangers fans who may find themselves in court.
They are weird people, but they are not the people.
