Davie McKiernan RIP

After watching Hibs finally winning the holy grail, I was on such a high that I didn't think anything could put a dampener on it.
How wrong I could be.
On the way back from Hampden my good friend Davie McKiernan took a heart attack in the car.
We dialled 999 right away, and I managed to get him to Hermiston Gait, where we followed the operators instructions, and a KFC customer that knew first aid, then off duty nurses tried valiantly to revive him, but it was not to be.
I am just glad he got to see his beloved Hibs lift the Scottish Cup before the Angels came for him.

Absolutely tragic. Good mates with my brother who is devastated.
Also heard yesterday a great Hibee supporting family lost their young son on Saturday too. I'm sure their lives will be remembered and celebrated by many Hibbies. Thoughts are with the families.
