Not seen this posted anywhere else but the club's official historian, Tommy Wright had a heart attack last Friday and consequently missed the match. Glad to say that reports are good on his progress but what a helluva shame that the man missed the winning of the Holy Grail. We'll just have to do it again next season

Get well soon, Tommy

I hadn't heard that JB, hope the big man gets better soon. My mate introduced me to him years ago when he had the shop. There was nothing he didn't know about Hibs. Top fella.

Was wonderful to meet him on the stadium tour last September, and made my kids extremely excited, and me very proud of their first introduction to the club and stadium. Tom, I hope you recover quickly.

The man that brings Hibstory to life. Hope he continues to recount tales old and new for some time to come. First heard him speak at the first? Leith Festival that Hibs opened their doors. IIRC It was within a week of THAT game against the Yams 2012. How uplifting to hear the man speak of our greatest players and games. A real story teller bumper crowds attended that year despite it all.

What a truly amazing and inspiring club and supporters we have.

Was sitting a couple of rows behind Ian from the Historical Trust on Saturday and he told me when I went down to give him a hug at full time. Sad that he missed it, but I'm sure he is delighted that we finally won it. Glad he is on the mend.

Get well soon Tom, I had a few interesting chats with him about players past and present in his shop shortly before he retired.

Excellent news that he's on the mend. I met Tom last year when I did the stadium tour on Fathers day. Full of knowledge and plenty of time for everyone.
