That can't be right. What if you had a player score the winning goal in every round and was injured or suspended for the final? It might be that the match day squad is accounted for on the day but the club request / organise provision for more?

Didn't Malonga only play in one cup game? You would have to think that players who appeared in multiple rounds but not the final would be above him. For example, didn't Thomson appear in like 3 rounds?
