Everyone that was there are the only people alive to have ever seen hibs lift the Scottish Cup. Amazing.

The more I think about the day/weekend the better it get's, a week previous I thought losing to Falkirk could spoil it but nothing could dilute the feeling when Sir David Gray headed that ball in to the back of the net.

Me too, with my son and some of my best mates that I have known for almost 30 years. Best day imaginable with the people I would choose to be with most at that time, with the exception of those sadly no longer with us. The two most emotional days of my life

I get emotional thinking about it but I'm just so so so pleased I was there with my Grandad, he's waited a lot longer than I have and to be with him on Saturday was just amazing. It was truly the best weekend ever.

I was there and a part of me always will be.

I don't think I will ever forget the feelings and emotions of the last 2 days and what they have meant to me and so many others.

I was there Saturday.

I was back there Sunday for the Amateur Cup final (you'll all be pleased to know there were two sets of goalposts and the pitch had been repaired )

Leven lost 2-1, but their keeper won man of the match - my Hibby pal's son, Jason Curran who is also a big Hibby :flag:

Like it.

I was there with Mrs One Day Soon and the two little One Day Soons.

It was like some kind of religious redemption. All past pain was washed away.

I was there with my son. Sometimes when something you've wanted for as long as you can remember finally happens it can be a bit of an anti climax. But Saturday was even better than I ever imagined it would be.

I was there with my Dad, my dad's best mate who made me a Hibby from the moment I was old enough, and all the guys I went to the games when I got my very first season ticket in 98/99 at 9 years old!

Fantastic day. Back at work down south again now, and everyone interested in football down here was watching, and are absolutely delighted that we did it :flag::flag:

I was there with my sister, and enjoyed the company of a few netters at the social gathering prior :not worth

Other friends and family were seated nearby, and our Famous Five stand neighbours Maurice and Claire were a couple rows back :aok:

Oh! How amazing that you end up hugging some random people who want to share the same joy as you

Apologies for being a pedant but I think Aberdeen in 85 was the league cup?

Fantastic to have been there on Saturday and to have been able to sing with my two older lads 'When Hibs went up to lift the Scottish cup, we were there, we were there'. Unforgettable. :flag:

They can ban us from next years competition or Europe but they can never take away the emotions I felt as Grays header hit the net. If I go to a better Hibs game in my lifetime and feel like that again I will be shocked.
