For a long time now we had have had way more than our fair share of misfortune and calamities. It has not been easy being a Hibby. At a time when we should have been capitalising on various situations that could and should have seen us move into position as the 2nd force in Scotland somehow we have managed to contrive a three year stint in the second tier with various other let down and embarrassments along the way. Not very much has gone our way and luck seems to have deserted us. It has led to a period of serious reflection and much negativity and defeatism amongst our ranks. I feel losing to falkirk was when we reached our low point and today is when we rise from the ashes and start on an upward spiral towards goals and glory. The Hibernian Pheonix has risen. After getting the cup monkey, which many thought would never happen, let the upward spiral commence.
